
Project Overview
The Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) program is an innovative and rigorous organization dedicated to transforming individuals to become inspiring educators. The program focuses on students receiving their Doctorate and learning how to spark change within the education field. This is a small branch of the College of Education department, in which needed its own visual identity to help set themselves apart, while aligning with Sacramento State University’s official branding. I worked alongside the marketing lead to assemble a "visual voice" for the program, generate content for their social media, and assist with creating various marketing materials to help build their audience. The creative solution would include print and digital materials such as an in-depth style guide, social media marketing, branded collateral, signage, and merchandise.

Marketing Materials
This style guide is a visual reference guide to help the Marketing team create branded materials. This will help future designers preserve the Ed.D.'s visual voice by showing examples of approved elements, icons, keywords, colors, references, imagery, and branded artwork for the program.

'Leading with Justice' Campaign
The #LeadingWithJustice campaign was a webinar series hosted by the Ed.D. program that took place every October. It featured various award-winning scholars that discussed their work on racial justice that have helped shape the educational landscape. This consisted of digital ads, hand outs, and flyers.

Social Media Ad Marketing
These digital graphics have been used across our social media platforms and website to help our program reach a wider audience. We focused our messaging system on "Becoming a Leader" to encourage people to join and to get a little insight of the program. These layouts abide by CSUS’ official brand identity.

'Leaders Build Leaders' Campaign
The 'Leaders Build Leaders' series was a social media ad campaign that focused on inspirational quotes to empower our students. Since we are an equitable program, it was important for us to show a diverse range of leaders as shown in the illustrations, and to engage in various academic topics and social justice politics.

Print Collateral & Signage
The following shows various signs and print materials that have been designed to be displayed in the Ed.D. office and hallway. It included a large glass case display, a bulletin board design, faculty research directory flyers, foam core desk posters, and a freeway billboard. These applications abide by CSUS’ official brand identity.

'Pay-It-Forward' Campaign
The 'Pay-It-Forward' campaign was an Ed.D. sponsored donation event, created to help invest in the future education of leaders in our community. The following items included a pop-up banner, lanyards, pins, postcards, and stickers to be displayed and distributed during the event.

Fun Promotional Items
Below shows a few examples of giveaways: sticker sheets, bookmarks, mugs, journals, and shirts. These gifts were distributed among our students, alumni, and faculty as a huge thank you for their extraordinary leadership. I hand-drew all the original artwork, based on inspirational leaders.
